Drs. Phillip & Lynne Roy

Drs. Phillip & Lynne Roy

Dr. Phillip Roy completed his undergraduate studies at Marquette University before attending the Illinois College of Optometry. Graduating with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1983, Dr. Phill received recognition and honors for his research and work in Contact Lenses and Clinical Eyecare & Refraction. He completed clinical internships at the Illinois Visually Handicapped Institute and at the Easter Seals Society in Chicago.

Co-founder and Senior Director of Drs. Roy & Associates, Dr. Phill’s superb clinical expertise, combined with a friendly and easy-to-understand manner, have given him a strong and loyal patient following. Throughout the years, he has done extensive work volunteering with the Gift of Sight/OneSight programs, Hometown Day and Vision Van as well as numerous community service and church-based programs. He thoroughly enjoyed the 8+ years of coaching for Elmbrook Little League – with the highlight coming his final year in his team’s winning of both the League and Tournament Championships.

Dr. Phill and his wife, Dr. Lynne, have two sons and enjoy spending their free time traveling and relaxing with family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Roy also enjoys fishing, boating, and hunting.

Dr. Lynne Roy graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from Mount Mary College in 1980. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1984, where she graduated with honors and received numerous awards for outstanding scholarship and research in the areas of pediatric and developmental vision. Dr. Roy furthered her training in learning-related vision problems with post-graduate studies in the area of Reading Disabilities at Marquette University.

Co-founder of Drs. Roy & Associates, Dr. Lynne spends much of her time “behind the scenes” as Director of Operations for the practice. While she enjoys working with patients of all ages, one of her special interests is in Learning-Related Vision Problems – receiving referrals from area educators and specialists. Dr. Lynne has also been instrumental in developing the practice’s specialty in Dry Eye and Ocular Surface Disease – and has attended many trainings through the country – including the Johnson & Johnson Dry Eye Institute for advanced training in Ocular Surface Disease. A leader in the optometric profession, Dr. Roy served on a national Optometric Advisory Council from 2003 – 2008. She has traveled extensively, training other doctors, and, because of her efforts, received a National Optometric Leadership Award as well as being named one of three doctors nominated for the 2007 Optometrist of the Year.

Dr. Lynne has done extensive volunteer work with the Elmbrook Schools, Friends of the Fine Arts, Gift of Sight/OneSight program, Women for MACC, and assorted church ministries. One of her most rewarding personal and professional challenges came in the fall of 2005 when Dr. Lynne became instrumental in spearheading the effort to provide free eye exams and glasses to over 100+ Hurricane Katrina refugees in Milwaukee.

Kwon

Dr. Michelle Kwon

Dr. Michelle Kwon has always had the passion for human biology, health, and patient care from a very young age. After graduating from Beaver Dam High School in Wisconsin, Dr. Kwon attended the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. She explored her interests by double majoring in music and biological sciences. In 2007, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance.

Dr. Kwon earned her Doctor of Optometry degree – graduating with honors – at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. She also completed externships in Ocular Disease at the Great Lakes Naval Base and Milwaukee VA Hosptial – as well as additional training in Pediatric Primary Eye Care and Vision Therapy. In 2015, she was appointed as a member of the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society and is currently an active member of both the Wisconsin Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.

Dr. Kwon has attended the Johnson & Johnson Dry Eye Institute for advanced training in Ocular Surface Disease. Her special interests include Aging Vision, Dry Eye Management & Treatment, Keratoconus, and Specialty Contact Lens fittings – including Scleral lenses. Dr. Kwon believes strongly in individualizing treatments and prescriptions for the uniqueness of each patient she encounters while providing the highest quality of eye care. She volunteers with Special Olympics in Oshkosh and Stevens Point and strives to learn from challenging cases.

Fabisch

Dr. Megan Marie Fabisch

Dr. Megan Marie Fabisch is a native of Appleton, Wisconsin. She attended Marquette University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medicine and Psychology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Fabisch graduated with both clinic and academic honors along with qualifying for Beta Sigma Kappa for high academic excellence.

Dr. Fabisch’s clinical experience includes internship rotations at the Illinois Eye Institute, Great Lakes Veterans Hospital, San Diego Center for Vision Care and Visionary Eye Care Professionals.

Dr. Fabisch’s primary interests are in Pediatrics, Contact Lenses (regular and specialty fits), and Primary Eye Care – including the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases such as Dry Eye, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, and Ocular Surface Disease.

In her free time, Dr. Fabisch enjoys working out, hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Alexandra Brandt

Dr. Alexandra Brandt grew up in Muskego before attending the University of Wisconsin- Madison, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Political Science. She continued her education at the Illinois College of Optometry where she graduated cum laude in 2017 with the degree of Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Brandt completed additional clinical training at the Illinois Eye Institute, Great Lakes Naval Station, James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, and Chicago Cornea Consultants.

Dr. Brandt enjoys providing comprehensive eye care for her patients, including the treatment and management of various ocular diseases, contact lens fits, and urgent eye care visits. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two cats.
